Use of had better

You had better come on time.
You'd better not say anything.
I'd better not come.
You had better concentrate on your work.
You had better not disturb me.
You had better not say anything.
We had better meet early.
She had better not complete this work.
She had better call me today.
Had better is a strong expression. We use it if we think there will be negative results if someone does not do what is desired or suggested.
