Rite vs. Right

RITE - यह एक noun है।

a religious or other solemn ceremony or act (विधि/ रस्म)

Their marriage rites were performed beautifully. (उनकी शादी की रस्मों को खूबसूरती से किया गया।)

a social custom, practice, or conventional act (संस्कार)

These days, the old rites are not so popular with the new generation. (इन दिनों, पुराने संस्कार नई पीढ़ी में इतने लोकप्रिय नहीं हैं।)

RIGHT -

Right का प्रयोग एक noun, adjective, verb और adverb की तरह किया जाता है।

She doesn't understand the difference between right and wrong. (वह सही और गलत के बीच का अंतर नहीं समझती।) (right - as a noun)

I hope we're doing the rightthing. (मुझे आशा है कि हम सहीकाम कर रहे हैं।) (right - as an adjective)

He had guessed right. (उसने सही अनुमान लगाया था।) (right - as an adverb)

Demonetization proved to be an important step towardsrighting the country’s economy. (विमुद्रीकरण देश की अर्थव्यवस्था को सही करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम साबित हुआ।)(right - as a verb)
